About this tool

AutoGPT is an open-source autonomous agent platform that became famous in 2023 for chaining LLM calls into self-directed tasks. The current product is a low-code agent builder where users compose 'blocks' for actions like web search, code execution, file handling and API calls into reusable Agents that can run on a schedule or in response to triggers. AutoGPT supports many model providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq and local models, and ships a hosted platform and a self-hosted server, with a marketplace of pre-built agents for marketing, research and automation. The project is targeted at developers and power users who want to build their own agentic workflows and is free and MIT-licensed, with paid hosted plans through its commercial arm Agpt.co.
