Qwen Chat

Qwen Chat is the consumer chat interface for Alibaba's Qwen family of large language models, one of the most prolific open-weight model families in the world. The product gives free access to Qwen3 and Qwen3-Plus for general reasoning, QwQ for chain-of-thought style problem solving, Qwen-VL for image understanding and Qwen-Coder for software development. Users can switch between models in a single conversation, upload documents and images, generate pictures and short videos, run web search and try experimental agent modes. Most of the underlying weights are released under permissive licenses on Hugging Face and ModelScope, making Qwen a popular base for fine-tuning by independent developers, startups and academic groups. Alibaba positions Qwen Chat as a general-purpose assistant for global users while also driving adoption of the models inside Alibaba Cloud's enterprise stack.
