About GitHub Copilot
GitHub Copilot is the AI pair programmer from GitHub and Microsoft, originally launched as inline code completion and now a full suite of developer AI features. It includes Copilot completions in editors like VS Code, JetBrains and Visual Studio, Copilot Chat for explaining code, fixing bugs and writing tests, Copilot Agent mode that can plan and execute multi-file changes, Copilot Workspace and Copilot Spaces for task-based workflows, plus Copilot in the GitHub web UI for PR summaries, issue triage and code review.
