Topaz Photo AI is a desktop application from Topaz Labs that uses deep learning models to denoise, sharpen and upscale photographs. It bundles together what used to be three separate apps, Denoise AI, Sharpen AI and Gigapixel AI, into a single workflow that automatically detects which corrections an image needs and applies them in one pass. Features include Subject Detection, Face Recovery, Preserve Text and Raw file support, plus integration as a plugin for Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom Classic and Capture One. Topaz Photo AI is aimed at professional photographers, retouchers and archivists who work with noisy high-ISO shots, old scans or images that need to be enlarged for print. It is sold as a one-time license with an optional annual upgrade plan, which differentiates it from most subscription-only AI tools.
